BMW confirmed Wednesday the all-new BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe, what automobile media has been reporting as a smaller sibling similar to the X6. The X4 is debuting for the first time in public at the Geneva Auto Show.

The Greer plant is manufacturing the X4 and it’s being offered in showrooms this spring. U.S. versions, offering a choice of two turbo engines, combine the performance and capability of a sports-activity vehicle with coupe styling, according to BMW’s announcement.

The X4 xDrive28i, priced $45,625 (including destination and handling), will feature a 240 horsepower 2.0-liter four cylinder while the top-of-line xDrive35i, has a $48,925 ticket (including destination and handling) and features BMW’s 300 horsepower 3.0-liter inline six.

The X4 is a half-inch, 184.3 inches, longer than the X3 and 1.5 inches lower. There’s 17.7-49.4 cubic inch of cargo space. The interior is trimmed in leather, wood and aluminum. Space in the rear offers room for three passengers.

The 2015 BMW X4 will make its world debut at the New York International Auto Show in April.
