Mandela, a rare white lion, was introduced at Hollywild Animal Park today.
The newest addition also marks the park's entry into an international breeding program designed to secure population of white lions and species diversity for the future.

Free family friendly films and pre-movie fun is scheduled at the City of Greer Moonlight Movies series in the City Park amphitheater each Thursday beginning June 4 through July 30.
All movies begin at dusk, but inflatables, games with prizes and dancing begins at 6:30 p.m.
“Faces in the Mirror”, a play exploring the subject of domestic abuse, will be performed at the Greer Opry House April 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. The play is being produced as the final thesis project of three Theatre Arts Graduate students in Greenville.
Admission is $8. The Opry House is at 107 Cannon Street.
Sister Hazel, an alternative rock band named for a local missionary who ran a homeless shelter, from Gainesville, Fla., will be the headline act at the 31st annual Greer Family Fest May 1-2.
New River Bluegrass, a Greer band that has reached the top of gospel music charts, and will perform at Dollywood during Memorial Day weekend, is also scheduled to perform.
Anna Brown, Miss Greater Greer, and Emma Kate Rhymer, Miss Greater Greer Teen, have selected their princesses for their reign during this pageant year.
Ella Jane Lee is the princess for Brown.
The Red Horse Inn will be hosting the Freewheelers of Spartanburg cycling group for a leisure ride followed by a wine tasting and sandwiches.
The event on Saturday, April 11 begins at 9 a.m. and ends at The Red Horse Inn and is open to members and non-members with a planned 40-mile course through Gowensville, Campobello and Boiling Springs countryside.
The Miss Greater Greer queens are hosting a tea party on Saturday, March 14 for girls ages 4-6 and 7-10 at The Davenport, 230 Trade Street.
Anna Brown, Miss Greater Greer, and Emma Kate Rhymer, Miss Greater Greer Teen, entertain girls ages 4-6 from 10 a.m. – noon and ages 7-10 from 1-3 p.m. The cost is $25.
Anna Brown, Miss Greater Greer 2015, won the Miss South Carolina lottery last weekend earning the No. 1 draw for placement selection.
Emma Kate Rhymer, Miss Greater Greer Teen, and Brown attended an intensive Miss South Carolina workshop weekend in Columbia. They also attended the Judges Seminar Dinner and participated in an autograph signing.
