Contec, Inc. has pledged $150,000 to the Roaring for Hollywild! campaign in honor of international conservationist Dave Johnson.
Johnson, who had his first post-college job in animal care at Hollywild, visited the park, May 21 as featured presenter for Conservation Day at the park. The gift was announced by Contec CEO Jack McBride announced the gift that will be distributed $30,000 annual installments over five years.

The Peace Center called Parton's tour "one of the hottest concert tickets of the summer," and predicted Parton's fans would sell out the shows quickly.
Parton's set-list will include hit songs from her double-disc album Pure & Simple with Dolly's biggest Hits, according to the Peace Center representatives. They said Parton will also be playing songs that have not been heard live for decades.
"We're so excited to get out there and see the fans again. I'm really looking forward to singing songs the fans have not heard in a while, as well as the hits, while debuting a few new ones off Pure & Simple," said Parton.
