Meth message was delivered to an empty auditorium

Here are a handful of  ingredients that were displayed at the Riverside High School auditorium during a methamphetamine presentation by Greer and Greenville County law enforcement officers.

There on the stage at Riverside High School’s auditorium last Monday for all to see were the ingredients needed to make methamphetamines, meth for short.

Officers were suspended before their resignations
APR 11, 2012

City Administrator Ed Driggers said the Greer Police Department is working to fill vacancies created by the resignations of two officers a week ago.

Married couple Tasha and Frank Cone resigned three days after police were called to their home at Fawnbrook Drive to answer a domestic disturbance call. No arrests were made that night. A follow-up investigation by detectives on Saturday, March 31 led to their resignation on Monday, April 2. Tasha Crone was charged with criminal domestic violence the next day.

Married Greer police officers resign
APR 4, 2012

A follow-up investigation into a domestic violence disturbance Friday night  at a home on Fawnbrook Drive led to the resignation of two Greer police officers.

The officers, a married couple, resigned Monday and Tasha Crone was charged with criminal domestic violence on Tuesday, Greer police reported. The resignations of Tasha  and Frank Cone and were the result of the follow-up investigation by detectives.

Greer patrolman Keller is state Rookie of the Year
APR 4, 2012

Wesley P. Keller, a patrolman with the Greer Police Department, is Rookie of the Year as selected by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS). Keller was recognized for his 16 driving under the influence (DUI) arrests in 2011.

Keller was among officers and agencies recognized for their efforts in 2011 to enforce the state’s DUI laws and remove impaired drivers from the South Carolina roadways.
