Sanford is a 2014 journalism and mass communication graduate from Greenville, Barrett is a senior journalism and mass communication major from Greer, and Whited, is a sophomore journalism and mass communication major from Lima, Ohio
The campaign, titled “Saving Lives Together,” united three local universities — BJU Furman, and North Greenville — as they collected nearly 1,500 units of blood for the Greenville community through The Blood Connection last fall.
The contest received more than 800 media entries in 20 categories.
