John Stuart Bell was honored with the Excellence in Mathematics Award.
• Carolina Newkirk was presented the Excellence in Intercultural Studies Award. The annual award is given to the student who is an intercultural studies major for at least half their academic career at NGU, must be in good standing with the university, must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and a 3.5 GPA in his or her Intercultural Studies major core of courses.
Newkirk is the daughter of Barry and Traci Newkirk of Taylors.
• Daniel Horn was honored with the 2017 Health Science Exceptional Senior Award. The health science faculty chose Horn based on his academic achievement, character, and dedication to excellence in health science.
Horn is the son of Dr. Curt and Mary Horn of Taylors.
• Mattie Roesch was honored with the 2017 Health Science Exceptional Senior Award. The health science faculty chose Roesch based on her academic achievement, character, and dedication to excellence in health science.
Roesch is the daughter of Dr. Thomas and Rebecca Roesch of Greer.
• John Stuart Bell was honored with the Excellence in Mathematics Award. The NGU math and science faculty chose Bell based on his academic achievement, character, and dedication to excellence in mathematics.
• Erin Robertson was presented the Scholar Athlete Award. The award is presented to a female and male student-athlete who has excelled as a student and an athlete during the past year.
