The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport Commission has selected Jay Beeson as a new commission member to serve a 6-year term.
Beeson is a principal of Mark III Properties, a residential subdivision development company based in Spartanburg. Beeson is also a licensed Professional Engineer, licensed General Contractor and licensed Real Estate Agent.
Beeson replaces William (Bill) Barnet III of Spartanburg County who retired from the Airport Commission.
“We are excited to welcome Jay Beeson as a new Commissioner at GSP,” said Minor Shaw, Chairperson of the GSP Airport Commission. “We know his experience and input will be invaluable as the Airport District continues to fulfill its mission to be an economic driver in the Upstate.”
The Commission’s six members are evenly divided between Spartanburg and Greenville counties.
