Julie McCombs subscribes to the adage, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. As a graphic engineer Julie has helped shape the visuals in GreerToday.com. Her work is also in many frames and scrapbooks.
In a nutshell, Julie has over 23 years of artistic and quality experience – graphic and design, website photography and ad design, is a professionally trained water colorist and enjoys pencil and charcoal portraiture.
Today, Julie adds blogging to her extraordinary portfolio. “Out and About with Julie McCombs” will bring readers into the middle of her world in the greater Greer area, the “Center of the Universe” as we call our community. And that means Julie will become more entrenched in Greer’s lifestyle, arts, entertainment and day-to-day quality of life.
Julie and her family are deeply entrenched in the community. Their children attend Greer schools, they actively support charities associated with children and healthcare and attend Freedom Fellowship Church.
Her love of sports and children led Julie to begin her own photography business in 2007 and she ventured into photojournalism two years later.
