Jim Boyd has been named Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Manager responsible for the activities, direction and results of the commercial team at Greer State Bank.
Tommy Williams has been appointed Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the North Main Street location. He is responsible for the daily operation of the branch and all lending functions that occur at that location.
Boyd has been named Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Manager responsible for the activities, direction and results of the commercial team at Greer State Bank. He has been with the bank for five years and has been involved in the banking industry for 19 years.
Boyd is a graduate of The Citadel, the South Carolina Bankers School, and the School of Banking at Louisiana State University (LSU). He is a board member and chairman of Greer Community Ministries, co-president of the Riverside High School Athletic Booster Club, a member of the Greer Chamber of Commerce Leadership Committee, and a member of Greer First Presbyterian Church.

Williams has been with Greer State Bank his 21 year banking career. He received his undergraduate business degree from Furman University and a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. He is also a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School.
