Home furnishings and accessories, antiques, vintage jewelry, chandeliers, pillows and artwork are among the items featured at the refurbished former Bank of Greer.
But the inventory onsite represents only a “blip” of what Brigham wants to showcase. Six filled tractor-trailers and 792 packed boxes wait for a larger location Brigham said she is pursuing downtown.
A visit to downtown convinced Brigham that Greer would become her new home for nearly 25-year antique business.
“We were taking a ride through towns and someone mentioned we should visit Greer,” Brigham said. “People would come out and speak to us. A man came into the store and said he just wanted to give us a hug. That’s when we knew found the right place.”
Brigham specializes in estate sales and interior design, Jonathan Reyes is the store manager and Mollie Brockton handles retail sails.
“My passion is people and retail,” Brigham said. “When I find a unique piece it gets my adrenaline going.”
