Passengers are advised to arrive two hours before the departure of their flights at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport this weekend.
It will be busy with the nonstop flights added to the San Francisco area for Clemson’s national championship game versus Alabama at Santa Clara, Calif.
Some passengers will also be departing as they return to school or home after celebrating the holidays in the Upstate.
GSP is recommending:
• Arrive 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. This should ensure that passengers find parking, check-in with their airline and get through the TSA security checkpoint in time to board their flight.
• Parking: Click here for GSP’s parking options and rates. Passengers can reserve parking spaces in Economy Lot B and the Sky Lots for Garages A and B. Curbside valet parking is also an option. GSP provides free shuttle service to the terminal from the two economy parking lots. Returning passengers can also take the shuttle back to the economy parking lots.
• TSA Checkpoint: Need a refresher on what you can bring through the TSA Checkpoint and what’s allowed in checked luggage, click here.
