Madison Calvert and Dalton Raines of Greer High School finished second and third, respectively, in Rep. Trey Gowdy’s Fourth District Congressional Art Competition.
Katherine Mruz, “Saturday Pancakes”, Southside High School won first place.
Calvert’s artwork was titled “Moses”, and Raines’s work was “Land of the Free because of the Brave”.
There were 115 submissions in Gowdy’s district. Mruz will have her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year with all other winners.
