Owner Wendy Mitchell has kept the public informed of its renovation through hand-written signs placed in the restaurant's window.
Owner Wendy Mitchell has had the former Southern Thymes Café sign removed and is replacing it with the restaurant’s new name.
A sign placed in the restaurant’s window announced DHEC has inspected and approved the restaurant for occupation and serving food. Signage earlier this week told customers food shipments have arrived.
A passersby Tuesday was seen peering into the window. Hearing Mitchell re-purchased the restaurant after a short absence the customer, who works at Greer’s BMW Manufacturing Co., said her associates had also asked of the pending re-opening.
Mitchell said she will be announcing promotions at GreerToday.com in the coming days awarding free meals and having customers participate in a counter art club.
