Cunningham liked a 'good deal', but cherished his family as the best deal ever
• Read obituary

There was little that made Daniel Lee Cunningham feel any better than a “good deal”, unless it was his family that included five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Cunningham, an entrepreneur/businessman, died Sunday. He was 95.

Dot’s and Dan’s Fashions was Cunningham’s venture into retail in Taylors. He also developed a successful real estate and property management company.

Cunningham had a personality that had family and friends who described him as a character. His love for sports cars accentuated that description.
