Kevin Duncan joins Greer State Bank as Manager/Private Banker and Assistant Vice President serving the Buncombe Road branch.
Melody Owens joins Greer State Bank in the newly created position, Public Relations and Client Strategy Manager.
Duncan, with seven years banking experience, is Manager/Private Banker and Assistant Vice President serving the Buncombe Road branch. He will be responsible for leading the branch team, business development and customer acquisition. Duncan will be involved in producing consumer and small business/commercial loans, and working to create and roll out a private banking line of business.

Duncan is a board member of Greer Relief, Crestview Elementary SIC committee chairperson, Leadership Greer Class XXXIII President, and Greer Chamber Leadership Council. Kevin is also a member and Chairman of the Finance Committee at Memorial United Methodist Church.
Owens, with seven years marketing experience, joins the bank in the newly created position, Public Relations and Client Strategy Manager. She is responsible for developing PR strategies, campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness. Owens is the point person for all community events and sponsorships.

Owens and her husband, Mark, are residents of Greer and active members at Memorial United Methodist Church. She earned a B.A. from King University in Bristol, Tenn., and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va.
