Fatz pancake breakfasts are good fundraisers for non-profits

Two fundraising pancake breakfasts, Short Stacks for Big Change, have been scheduled at Fatz Cafe’s restaurant at 1361 W. Wade Hampton Road.
A breakfast will be held Saturday from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m. to benefit the Blue Ridge Corps of Cadets. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to help fund the new uniforms for the Cadets.  The Corps of Cadets, perennial state qualifiers, won their last state championship in 2008.
Tickets for Short Stacks for Big Change are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Shannon Good at [email protected]. Donations are accepted at Fatz to benefit the band.
• The Upstate Express Girls Traveling Team will host a pancake breakfast on Oct. 1 from 7 – 10 a.m. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used to fund the upcoming softball season.
Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Kim Gabrel at 864-313-8866 or [email protected]. Donations will be accepted at the breakfast to benefit the softball team.
