Chick-fil-A is fighting breast cancer this month and inviting customers to do the same and “Fight Like a Chic”!
Friday (Oct. 18, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health Mobile Mammogram Coach will be using the Chick-fil-A in Simpsonville, 659 Fairview Road, as a mobile mammography site. The coach mirrors the state-of-the-art diagnostic screenings found at the fully accredited Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health.
“This mobile unit allows us to take high-tech screenings and education beyond the walls of the hospital, extending the same compassionate patient care found at the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health,” said Rose Leo, VP for Women’s and Ancillary Services at St. Francis eastside.
Patient paperwork for this event can be downloaded from the Chick-fil-A website.
Also, during October Chick-fil-A will be helping to combat breast cancer by offering donations from food orders. For every gallon of tea or half dozen cookies sold, the restaurant will donate to breast cancer research.
