A luminaria was lit for Frank Hilliard at the Greer Relay for Life last Friday.
Frank Hilliard’s humor could be found on his LinkedIn page where he described himself as “President, Retired and Enjoying It” posted last November.
Hilliard spent more than 30 years in the mortgage finance industry becoming a senior mortgage consultant in Greer. He was recommended by clients and businesses as dedicated, unafraid to try new things and his willingness to “give first”. Testimonials were scattered on his website and he produced a blog with mortgage tips.
Hilliard, 57, died Sunday after battling cancer. He is survived by his wife, Beth, and daughter, Rosemary, and son, Sam, and his sister, June Ross. He was a native of Charleston.
His mortgage finance career took him to Chicago, Boston, Milwaukee and Greensboro before coming to Greer.
Social media was Hilliard’s main way to communicate trends of the mortgage industry, and frequently connect with family and friends.
