Gibson, the chairperson of the three-member commission, was elected in 1982 and has served without interruption. Kriese has lived in Greer for 14 years and served in the Air Force 1965-69. He has worked as a general contractor in Greer and Indianapolis, where he previously resided.
Wayne Griffin (District 2), Lee Dumas (District 4) and Judy Albert (District 6), were unopposed for their city council seats and declared winners by the Greer Election Commission earlier this summer. They will be sworn in with the CPW commissioner.
