Greer Middle College is holding a 5k Walk/Run fundraiser Sept. 20, 9 a.m. in downtown Greer. This fundraiser is specifically to increase the wireless infrastructure and bandwidth necessary to speed up and support more mobile devices that the students can use for research in the classroom.
Entry fee is $25 and you can walk/run or be a spectator and cheer everyone on. You also can donate to this cause if you prefer not to participate.
