The parents demo will showcase Greer’s competition program “Hope Springs Eternal” in three movements. The public is invited and admission is free.
The band, with over 100 members, has been working eight-hour days on rehearsing, marching and conditioning. The annual summer camp was held last week with its uniform fitting last Friday.
Jeff Norman begins his fifth year as band director at Greer. He also serves as visual consultant for the Clemson University Marching Band. The Yellow Jackets finished 8th in the state championship last year and fourth in the Upper State.
