What to look for: Greer hasn’t opened the season with three consecutive wins since 1995. Greer overmatched Riverside last week with its physicality. Offensive linemen Noah Hannon graded 83 percent with 5 knockdowns, Cole Henderson 92 percent with 3 knockdowns and Garrett Poole 87 percent with 3 knockdowns. Jared Wright is the most active defensive player leading the team in tackles (12), assists (11) with one tackle for loss. Bobby Farrington was the special team player of the game, recovering a fumble when he fell on a loose ball that was hiked to an inattentive running back. Troy Pride was defensive player of the game with 6 tackles and 2 assists, still fewer than Wright’s 7 and 7, respectively. Wright had a knockdown on a pass, and one tackle for loss. Deandre Moren was named the hit squad player. Mario Cusano (QB) has proved accurate in his first two games (22-30-292 yards and 3 TDs.
