GreerToday.com asks its readers, friends and your friends to reach out to Brett and his family, when pausing for Memorial Day prayers and thoughts of heroes from all armed services who served with honor for the United States.

Brett's Facebook page is responding to messages of support and prayer for his recovery and return home.

Leigh Conner Radlein, Brett’s mother, checks her messages nightly on her Facebook page.

Patti Simmons wrote in an e-mail:

He is one blessed young soldier!! Estimated time in DC for recovery is 1.5 months. Brett Graduated from Greer High 4 years ago and played on the Varsity.

His mother says each day is amazing with his recovery. It's great to know that this young guy will one day make it home. His mother checks her messages nightly on Facebook. That's how I've been communicating to her.
