Greer’s Elizabeth and Caroline Holland lost in the 5.0 finals to Atlanta’s Kim Raley and Sonia Shen. The Hollands earned their way into the finals going 4-0 in the round robin to win a wild card spot.
There were 92 men’s and women’s teams with more than 1,000 players from nine states, making it one of the largest tournaments by player number in the world.
Teams earned a berth in the USTA League National Championships. Different levels will compete over three weekends in October in Surprise, Ariz., Phoenix and Oklahoma City.
