GSP picks Eastside Transportation Services for ground services provider
The GSP Airport District announced Eastside Transportation Services as the new on-demand ground transportation services provider at GSP International Airport.

The Airport District solicited proposals for these services when the previous contract held by Atchison Transportation Services was set to expire. The final three bid proposals were not accompanied by GSP’s announcement today.

Eastside Transportation Services was awarded the new contract as a result of having submitted the most competitive proposal. Eastside Transportation Services is a locally owned and operated company in business since 1997.

Eastside, located a mile from the passenger terminal, will offer a variety of transportation options to include, minivan economy service, executive sedans and SUV’s, executive van service, shuttle bus service and limousine coach service, according to the announcement.

The new contract covers a three-year time period with two one-year options to renew.

“Anybody can provide a ride but not everybody can deliver high quality customer service and that is what makes Eastside different. We pay attention to the needs of our customers and with every trip our goal is to exceed expectations. We are excited about our new partnership with GSP and we look forward serving its customers with our fleet of late model vehicles including Lincolns, Cadillac’s and Ford transit vans.”

Louie Chemell, President/CEO of Eastside Transportation Services

“In addition to having submitted the most comprehensive and competitive package, the pledge to provide excellent customer service and the track record to prove it is one of the things that intrigues us about this new relationship with Eastside. It’s important to us to ensure that every passenger arriving at GSP International Airport have access to immediate ground transportation services with or without a prior reservation.”

GSP Airport District President/CEO Dave Edwards.
