GSP records 19 consecutive months of passenger growth
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) gained 13.4 percent more passengers at the airport in April 2019 (207,539) versus April 2018 (183,012).

This marked the 19th consecutive month of passenger growth for GSP.

“The growth we are seeing at GSP is exciting and reflects the significant investments airlines are making at the airport and in the region,” said Dave Edwards, GSP’s president and CEO.

“Airlines are adding flights, using larger aircraft and bringing new routes to GSP,” Edwards said.

United Airlines will begin daily nonstop service to Denver on Friday. American Airlines added a third daily nonstop flight to Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) and a fourth daily nonstop to Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA).

In addition, Frontier Airlines returned its popular service to Las Vegas and Orlando in May while doubling Denver flights to four times a week.

Southwest Airlines will re-launch new daily nonstop service to Baltimore in November.
