GTCHS Junior, John Price, stands before a quote from his state winning poem for the NCDA's Poster & Poetry Contest.
Price’s poem was entered into the state contest after receiving 1st place at both the school and district-level contests.
Each November, GTCHS participates in the National contest. Students are expected to create a poster or write a poem according to the contest's theme, which this year was Celebrating First Jobs through Encore Careers.
