Sarah Guzick, a political science major, and four of her Yale teammates were named ITA All-Academic Team. Students must maintain a 3.50 grade point average.
The winner of Yale’s match with Georgia Tech plays Sunday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. against the winner of the match between No. 1 Florida and Marist.
Yale (17-3) went 6-1 in the Ivy League to claim the eighth Ivy League title and fourth NCAA Tournament berth in school history. The Bulldogs shared the Ivy title with No. 55 Columbia this year.
Guzick played four singles matches for this spring, posting a 2-2 record. She also has won two of three matches playing doubles.
Guzick was 11-1 in doubles in the fall and teamed with Annie Sullivan to win the Cissie Leary Invitational at Philadelphia. The team won six consecutive matches. In singles, Guzick was 5-3 and won both matches in the Big Green Invitational at Hanover, N.H.

As a junior, Guzick was 6-5 in singles, playing at Nos. 5 and 6, and was 3-3 in doubles. Yale advanced to the NCAA Tournament last year, winning a first round game at the Stanford regional and losing its second match.
Guzick attended Christ Church Episcopal in high school.
