If you shopped at Harbor Freight Tools in the past six years, you could be entitled to a refund.
Harbor Freight Tools settled a lawsuit accusing the company of misleading shoppers by listing inaccurate “regular” prices during sales.
Almost anyone making a purchase from April 8, 2011 to Dec. 15, 2016, could get up to 30 percent back on your purchases. Itemized receipts with a “YOU SAVED” amount on them are worth 20 percent of the “YOU SAVED” amount in cash or 30 percent of that amount in Harbor Freight Tools store credit, check or gift card.
Customers without a receipt can use credit card statements with Harbor Freight Tools purchases that are worth money, too. Send a copy of the statement for a cash rebate worth 10 percent of the entire purchase or 12 percent of the entire purchase in store credit.
Harbor Freight Tools disputes the claims in the suit, but it has agreed to the settlement. The company is accepting rebate requests through Aug. 7.
