Ken Bixby, the president and CEO of the BJU Education Group, addressed the 83 graduates of Bob Jones Academy during their 91st commencement exercises held Thursday, May 10, in Rodeheaver Auditorium on the BJU campus.

Ali Hermetz of Greenville and Alexander Moreno of Greer were the valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.

Seventy eight of the 83 graduates are planning to attend college in the fall, with 66 attending Bob Jones University. Others plan to attend Anderson University, Clemson University, Furman University, The Citadel, University of Alabama, Greenville Technical College and Texas State Technical College.

Seven students plan to enlist in the military. Of those with military aspirations, two will enroll in BJU’s inaugural ROTC program. Three are entering the workforce. 

Founded in 1927, Bob Jones Academy is an independent Christian school in Greenville serving students in preschool through 12th grade.
