Houston ran for 6- and 4-yard touchdowns and threw scoring strikes to Quay White, 14 yards, and Chris Quinn, 15 yards. Houston accounted for 250 yards of total offense – 152 passing and 98 rushing.
Scoring runs by Dre Williams, 46 yards, and White, 1 yard, run accounted for all the touchdowns. Kicker Edwin Sales connected on six of his seven extra point kicks.
Clinton, noted for its rushing offense, gained all its yards on the ground, 188 yards on 46 rushing attempts. Konnor Richardson of the Red Devils did not complete any of its five passes thrown and had one intercepted.
Greer is 2-1 and plays at Daniel next Friday. Clinton is 0-2 and plays Aiken next week.
