Inland Port Greer set an all-time high with 15,563 rail moves in July.
Greer has handled 128,515 rail moves since July. The South Carolina Ports Authority’s fiscal year ends this month.
Greer is projected to handle more than 150,000 containers in FY 2018-2019.
“Our container volumes this fiscal year have been strong compared to FY2018,” said Jim Newsome, SCPA president and CEO. “We look forward to continuing this momentum as we wrap up FY2019 at the end of June.”
The SCPA reported its strongest May on record and said its twenty-foot equivalent containers volume is up 9.7 percent this year.
