Donny Kauffman is the new executive director at Greer Community Ministries (GCM). He will lead the nonprofit ministry in its mission to serve the homebound, elderly, and disadvantaged in the greater Greer area.
“We are thrilled to have Donny on our team and are excited about the positive direction in which the ministry is headed,” said Candice Good, GCM board chair.
“Donny’s leadership and ability to connect with the Greer community will be a huge asset to the ministry so we can continue our mission to feed and clothe those in the Greater Greer area,” said Good. “We are looking forward to the growth and seeing how we can better serve our community.”
Kauffman comes to GCM from Miracle Hill Ministries where he served as the director of Thrift Operations. He was previously the connections pastor at Freedom Fellowship in Taylors for 11 years.
“I have always enjoyed being a part of the Greer community, and I look forward to serving in this role at GCM,” Kauffman said. “I have been familiar with GCM for a long time now but have learned more about this ministry already in my first week.”
“We have some great ministries to offer and I am excited to partner with the staff and supporters to ensure that we continue to help those in need,” said Kauffman. “If you would like to know more about GCM please contact me. I would love to meet you.”
Kauffman holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
