Motorists traveling northbound on I-85 in Spartanburg County are advised that the left lane will be closed effective Thursday night, Aug. 24 at 10 p.m. between mile marker 77 to mile marker 81.
This lane closure will accommodate work in the median and marks the beginning of reconstruction on the northbound section of I-85. This left lane closure will be in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the completion of the median work.
The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph in the area.
