A man has been arrested in connection with two bank robberies.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office announced that Daniel Sean Breeskin, 41, was arrested Friday for the robbery at Sun Trust Bank at 2111 Wade Hampton Blvd., in Taylors.
Deputies initially responded to Sun Trust Bank after dispatch received panic alarm activation from the alarm company. Once on scene, deputies discovered that a male suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding cash. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Following Thursday’s bank robbery investigators learned Breeskin was at a residence at 304 Watson Road in Taylors. Investigators made contact with the suspect who fit the description.
Breeskin was taken into custody and during the investigation of that robbery, investigators learned he was also responsible for the Aug. 22 robbery at SC Telco Credit Union.
Breeskin was transported to the Greenville County Detention Center and charged with two counts of bank robbery. He remains in custody on an $80,000 bond.
