Caroline Neely, a junior volleyball player, is the Greer High School Fall Sports Student-Athlete of the Week.
Neely is ranked No. 1 in her class and is a starting setter for volleyball.
Walmart of Greer and GreerToday.com are the sponsors of the award and Clock Restaurant on E. Poinsett awards a meal voucher to each Student-Athlete winner in football and fall sports.
“Caroline works hard every day and gives her all for the team,” head coach Ashleigh Anderson, said. “She keeps the players motivated in the game.”
Neely leads the team in kills with 80, and is tied for first with the most aces with 35. She is second on the team with 77 assists.
Greer host Greenville at 7 tonight in a Region II-3A match. Next week Greer is at Travelers Rest Tuesday, hosts Eastside Thursday and competes in the Southside Christian Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 6.
Teammate Julia Sudduth, ranked No. 10 in her sophomore class, won the Fall Sports Student-Athlete Award in Week 2.
