The methodology behind this ranking began with schools that are members or member eligible of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Publicly available data for these schools were collected in five categories. These categories are faculty-to-student ratio, percent of full-time beginning undergraduates receiving grant or scholarship aid, selectivity, overall retention rate and overall graduation rate. Each category received equal weight in calculating the final ranking.
The CUO website states that the goal of the CUO is to provide as many resources as possible to help students not only find the right Christian school, but get into, pay for, and thrive at it as well.
