Alline Christine Splawn Amos, 96, wife of the late Ralph Amos, passed away August 28, 2024.

A native of Chesnee, daughter of the late Curtis and Nettie Hall Splawn, she was a retired seamstress and homemaker, who loved making quilts and ornaments which she shared freely with others.

She was a faithful member of Faith Temple and loved Bible study both at church and at home.

Surviving:

Surviving are four daughters, Carolyn Mann (Frank) of Royston, Georgia, Norma Switzer (Earl) of Anderson, Christine Heisey (Mike) of Tavares, Florida, and Mary Ivester (Daniel) of Greer; two sons, Johnny Amos (Juanita) of Springville, Alabama and Raymond Amos (Aline of Hendersonville, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Amos was predeceased by a son, Phillip Amos, a grandson, Chad Amos, and a sister, Pauline Atkins.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Faith Temple conducted by Rev. Raymond Burrows and Dr. Frank Mann.

Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens, Chesnee.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Faith Temple.

The family is at their respective homes.
