Bennie Oneal Dillard, 78, died September 15, 2013 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Harold Melrose and Lolette Henerey Dillard, he was a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese, a U.S. Army Air Force Korean War Veteran and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Betty Southern Dillard of the home; six sons, Bennie Kent Dillard of Simpsonville, Charles Dean Phillips of Landrum, Donnie Shelton of Greer, Chris Shelton of Taylors, Kim Shelton of Greer and Scotty Shelton of Greer; three daughters, Kay Green of Greenville, Shelia Medlin of Campobello and Debbie Collard of Clinton; two brothers, Joe Dillard of Inman and Maxie Dillard of Greer; one sister, Bobbie Tinsley of Cross Hill; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dillard was predeceased by at brother, Thomas Earl Dillard.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Greer Church of God conducted by Rev. Belvin Hughes, Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Gene Land.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.
