Betty Gene Painter Martin, 78, of 8 Graviton Road, widow of Frank Martin, Jr., died March 1, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Restorative Care.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Lillian Tucker Painter, a retired textile employee, and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a brother, AJ Painter of Greer and a sister, Marline Cartee of Holly Springs.

She was also predeceased by a brother, Dean Painter.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Will Brown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 3 until 4 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home of the brother, AJ Painter, 4295 Berry Mill Road, Greer, SC.
