Bishop Richard Curtis Pitts, 72, passed away October 12, 2018.

A native of Greer; son of the late William Earl and Ila Maude Neal Pitts; he was a retired Church of God of Prophecy minister and member of Conestee Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Lucille Reid Pitts of the home; two daughters, Cindy Crocker (Eddie) of Simpsonville and Mindy Edington (Billy) of Smyrna; one son, Alan Michael Pitts of the home; two brothers, William Neal Pitts of Mauldin and Roy Pitts of Greer; one sister, Lucille Pitts Southers of Greer and four grandchildren; Taylor Edington, Clint Edington, Morgan Crocker and Hayden Crocker.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Pelham Church of God of Prophecy conducted by Pastor Eddie Crocker, Rev. Wayne Hinton and Rev. Dewain Willis. Entombment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Conestee Church of God of Prophecy Building Fund, 155 2nd Street, Conestee, SC 29636.
