Robert (Bob) Allen Nestor, 87, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2018.

A native of New Plymouth, Idaho, son of the late Emory W. and Gladys Viola Peterson Nestor, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Mr. Nestor was a former teacher at Mauldin High School and Bob Jones University, former Public Relations Director at Boys Home of the South and retired from Greenville Technical College in December 2015.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Peggy Jean Yarbro Nestor of the home; a son, Brent Nestor of Taylors; a daughter, Lori J. Shrock (Mike) of Greenville; and a grandson, Drew Shrock.

Mr. Nestor was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Karen Nestor.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 in M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 9:45-10:45 a.m. Friday at the church.
