Calvin Coundrey Loftis, 91, widower of Grace Sanders Loftis, passed away on March 26, 2018 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Broadus Toy and Exia Coundrey Loftis, he was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens, a U.S. Army WWII Veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Hilda Quinn of Taylors; one son, Ira Loftis (Judy) of Taylors; two brothers, Jack Loftis of Lyman and Larry Loftis of Union; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one special niece, Regina Green and one daughter-in-law, Debbie Loftis.

Mr. Loftis was predeceased by one son, Leland Loftis; two brothers; five sisters; two grandchildren, Greg Taylor and Scott Taylor; one great-grandchild, Devin Taylor and one son-in-law, Joe Quinn.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Nathan Thomas.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Shane Loftis, Eddie Laws, Mike Hannon, Reams Oneal, Doug Hannon, Jeremy Loftis and Allen Dellinger.

Honorary escort will be the fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 101 Calvary Street, Greer, SC 29650 or Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
