Mr. Carl Lee "Pop" Collins 60, of 1141 Victor Hill Road, died Friday, January 31, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.

Native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Gussie Collins Sr. and Bessie Cunningham Collins, a former truck driver for Collins Landscaping Company and a member of Spartanburg Christian Discipleship Center At The Promised Land.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Annie Pearl Nimmons, Shelton Collins, Sherman Collins and Samuel Gregory, and a granddaughter, Chaztian Mackupson.

Surviving:

Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Janette Gregory Collins of the home; sons, Carl Lemanuel Collins Jr. and Dwayne Indus Collins, both of Spartanburg, SC, Maurice Vonzell Makupson of Moore, SC; a daughter, Lerondia Gale Collins of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Carnell Collins of Spartanburg, SC, Claude Collins of Greer, SC and Gussie Collins Jr. of Wellford, SC; sisters, Mrs. Shirley Tanner of Spartanburg, SC and Mrs. Annie Hill of Cowpens, SC; 5 grandchildren; Nieces; Nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Spartanburg Christian Discipleship Center At The Promised Land, 150, Kensington Road, Spartanburg, SC with the pastor, Apostle Tommy E. Quick, officiating.

Burial will follow in The Travelers Rest Baptist Church Cemetery.
