Carolyn Ruth Bowling Barron, 80, wife of the late Michael A. Barron, passed away May 23, 2023.

A native of Glen Morgan, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ray and Ruth Bowling, she was a retired employee of United States Postal Service and a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Barron Baille (Jacques) of Travelers Rest; two sons, Brian Barron (Destene) of Seneca and Jeff Barron (Angie) of Raleigh, North Carolina; one brother, Larry Bowling (Debbie) of Port St. Lucie, Florida; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Barron was predeceased by one brother, Freddie Bowling.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Pastor Paul Pendell.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Barron, Nathan Baille, Tristen Barron, Bryson Baille, Jeff Barron, and Brian Barron.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Cancer Center, 104 Innovation Dr., Greenville, South Carolina 29607.
