Christopher Tyree Hyatt, 44, passed away September 14, 2017 at his home.

A native of Greer, he was a son of Kenneth Wayne Hyatt of Anderson and Darlene Thompson Dockins of Greer.

Kris attended Brevard College, was a gifted musician and an excellent drum teacher.

He attended Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.

Surviving:

Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Lisa Hyatt Hutto (Tripp) of Georgetown; a stepfather, Ken Dockins of Greer; two step brothers, Mike Dockins (Kathy) of Greenville and Brian Dockins (Nicole) of Spartanburg; and a special aunt, Laverne "Betty" Miller of Greer.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Curtis DuBose.

Visitation will be held 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
