Dwight Elmer Cassell, 71, widower of Joan Jenkins Cassell, died April 17, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Leroy and Athalee Masters Cassell, and retired owner and operator of Cassell Structures.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Cassell of Woodruff; a brother, Daniel Wayne Cassell and his wife, Brenda of Greer; a sister, Jean Deshields and her husband, Garvin of Greer; and two grandchildren, Noah and Luka Doering.

He was also predeceased by a brother, Horace Cassell.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in Westwood Memorial Gardens in Moore, S.C., conducted by Rev. Ashley Twitchell.

Visitation will be held 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of the daughter.
