David Wayne Rhodes, 72, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.
A native of Roebuck, he was a son of the late Ralph Oscar and Miriam Earl Parks Rhodes; and member of Memorial United Methodist Church. He retired after 49 years of service as an Administrator for Greenville County Schools.
Surviving:
Surviving are his wife, Jane Huggin Rhodes of the home; one daughter, Clare Rhodes Laye (Andy) of Greenville; one son, David Parks Rhodes (Bobbie Jo) of Greer; one brother, Ralph Rhodes (Rebecca) and one sister, Ann Rhodes Loftis, both of Woodruff; four grandchildren, Drew Laye and Merrick Laye, both of Greenville and Tyler Crowe and Brooke Crowe, both of Greer and his beloved dog, Gracie.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Memorial United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Joe Cate and Rev. George Strait. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.
