Darrell Thomas Jones, 69, of Lyman, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 6, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, he was the son of the late Tommy and Mary Jones of Greer. He was an avid golfer and Clemson fan, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

He is survived by a sister, Darlene Wall (Darrell), a brother, Steve Jones, and a sister-in-law, Jackie Jones, all of Greer, as well as many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved, and his dog, Rosco.

He was predeceased by a sister, Annette Welchel and her husband, Gene, a brother, Freddie Jones, and a sister-in-law, Ann Jones.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly.

Visitation will be held immediately after the service at the cemetery.

The body will lie in state 3-7 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at their respective homes.
