David Alvin Koffler, aka Mouse, 70, passed away January 5, 2019.
A native of Woodburn, Oregon, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Helena M. Faulhaber Koffler; a retired employee of Christopher Trucks and a believer in Jesus Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine Crump Koffler, of the home; three sons, David A. Koffler, Jr. (Ruby Ann) of Carolina Shores, North Carolina, Michael Wayne Simpson (Mary) of Troutman, North Carolina and Derald Black (Amanda) of Spartanburg; one daughter, Tracy Miles (Aaron) of Jefferson, SC; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and mother-in-law, Betty Clark.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Kristina Marie Koffler; one brother, Jerry Koffler and one sister, Cathy Maldanado.
Families and friends will meet to celebrate his life at a later date to be announced.
The family will be at the home.
David was very instrumental in the expansion of the Rettew House. He was a supporter of the Rettew House because they foster handicap children.
